The Manufacturing of Zinc Oxide
One core business of Agromet Asia is the production of Zinc Oxide. The company transforms non-ferrous metals into chemicals and alloys. Within this process, the PlasmaQuant 9100, the ICP-OES device of Analytik Jena, is a valued device by confirming and quantifying the purity of Zinc Oxide. This includes the fast and reliable detection of contamination by measuring the degree of Zinc Oxide to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements as well as their customers‘ specification demands.
Why Analytik Jena was selected
Efficiency is a major factor for Agromet Asia using PlasmaQuant 9100 because the device provides accurate results for trace element analysis while saving time compared to other available methods. Moreover, the company values the versatile
usability of the Analytik Jena product:
“The device enables us to rely on results for both high-level and lowlevel concentrations,“ continues Ritesh Singhal, Managing Director of Agromet Asia. The flexible Dual View Plus plasma observation system and multi-elemental analysis are features in favour of the PlasmaQuant 9100 of Analytik Jena, too. The user-friendliness and the quality are additional advantages. That is the reason why the Agromet team is happy working with the Analytik Jena device:
“Incorporating this instrument into our testing facility has been one of our wise decisions.“
About the PlasmaQuant 9100 Series
The PlasmaQuant 9100, and its predecessor PlasmaQuant 9000, has a clear emphasis on broad applicability, simplicity and cost-effectiveness, yet comes with high-performance features that provide a wide working range and high measurement sensitivity.
Hence, it allows to select the best emission line for individual analytical tasks from over 43,000 lines while the spectral resolution of 2 pm @ 200 nm resolves even severe interferences. With the flexibility to apply any plasma observation mode, radial and axial, to any emission line in a single method, the instrument enables the free selection of optimum plasma views in every sample for synchronous analysis of contents ranging from sub-ppb to high weight percent. The high frequency generator, which provides a plasma of extraordinary robustness and guarantees superior accuracy and precision as well as the intelligent torch design of the V Shuttle torch, add to simple handling and reliable measurement results.
