Conditions of Participation Quiz 60 years SPECORD

1.  Quiz

The competition is carried out by Analytik Jena GmbH+Co. KG (hereinafter: Analytik Jena), Konrad-Zuse-Str. 1, 07745 Jena, Germany. Participation in the competition is voluntary. The prerequisite for participation is the granting of an advertising consent, which can be revoked at any time, by the participant (see item 7 of these conditions of participation), since the prize draw is financed through the mediation of advertising. Apart from this, participation in the competition is not subject to any further requirements or costs. By participating in the competition, the participant expressly and bindingly accepts these conditions of participation.

2. Participation

Participation in the Analytik Jena 60 Years of SPECORD quiz takes place electronically via the online form provided. The quiz period is limited in time from August 01, 2023 to October 31, 2023.

In order to participate in the quiz, the provided online form has to be filled out completely. Each participant is responsible for the accuracy of the data submitted by him.

3. Eligibility

All persons who have reached the age of 18 and who have indicated a postal code in the European Union (except Germany, Austria or Switzerland) as their place of residence or place of business on the electronic entry form provided are eligible to participate. Employees of Analytik Jena GmbH+Co. KG or its affiliated companies pursuant to § 15 AktG (German Stock Corporation Act) are excluded from participation in the Analytik Jena 60 Years SPECORD quiz.

4. Exclusion from the prize game

All electronic entry forms sent by October 31, 2023 at midnight German time will be entered into the Analytik Jena 60 Years of SPECORD quiz. After this time, it is no longer possible to submit the electronic entry form.
Only participants who have completed the electronic entry form in full and sent it within the deadline will be considered for the prize draw.
If not all personal details provided are true, the participant may be excluded.
Each participant may only register once. Analytik Jena reserves the right to exclude persons from participation who obtain advantages through manipulation. In such cases, the prize may also be subsequently withdrawn.

5. Execution and settlement

The winners will be determined by Analytik Jena by drawing lots. The following prizes will be drawn as part of the prize draw:

• 1x Apple iPad (2022/10. Generation, 64 GB)
• 10x Amazon vouchers (à 60 Euro)
• 10x SPECORD cuddly toys

Cash payment of the non-cash assets or exchange of the prizes is not possible. The winners will be notified by Analytik Jena by e-mail only. The announcement of the winners is made without guarantee.

Analytik Jena is entitled to transmit the winners' data to cooperation partners in order to enable the delivery of the prizes. The prizes will be delivered free of charge to the address provided by the winners in the European Union (except Germany, Austria or Switzerland) after verification of the data. In the event that the address provided by the winner is incorrect and/or the prize cannot be delivered for other reasons for which the winner is responsible, the claim to the prize shall lapse.

The risk shall pass to the winner upon posting of the prize at the post office. Analytik Jena is not responsible for delivery damage.

With regard to the prizes, there is no claim to a specific model, color, equipment or the like.

We reserve the right to prematurely terminate the competition in whole or in part at any time, even without observing deadlines, or to change its course if it is not possible for technical reasons (e.g., computer virus, manipulation of or errors in software/hardware) or legal reasons to guarantee proper implementation of the competition.

6. Warranty and liability

Liability for material defects and/or defects of title in the prizes won is excluded.

7. Data protection and advertising measures

The purpose of the data processing is, on the one hand, the implementation/handling of the competition. The personal data provided by the data subject will be used for this purpose. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. b DSGVO.

Participation in the quiz is voluntary. The prerequisite for participation is the granting of an advertising consent by the participant, which can be revoked at any time, as the prize draw is financed through the mediation of advertising. Otherwise, participation in the quizs is not tied to any further requirements or costs. The legal basis for data processing in this context is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

The advertising consent is only given to Analytik Jena. The data will not be passed on to third parties.

Analytik Jena uses the advertising consent to inform the data subject by e-mail about new products and current events.

The personal data will be deleted no later than three months after the competition has been completed. This does not apply to the data of the winners, which will be deleted after expiry of the statutory periods. If the data subject has given consent for further use of the data, the data will not be deleted.

The data subject has the right to revoke his/her advertising consent at any time without giving reasons. The revocation of consent does not result in any disadvantages. The revocation is to be addressed to: sales@analytik-jena.com.
The data subject has the right to obtain information from the controller about the personal data concerning him or her, as well as the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. Notwithstanding the afore mentioned rights, the data subject also has the possibility to contact the respective competent supervisory authority if he or she is of the opinion that the processing of the data concerning him or her violates the GDPR.

8. Miscellaneous

Legal recourse is excluded.
The claim to the prize is not assignable.
