Feeds for Power Generation Find the Right Analyzer for Your Feedstock

Our analyzers assess sulfur and chlorine levels in power plant feedstocks, protecting plants from corrosion and ensuring SO2 emission standards are met. Analysis of waste is complicated by its inhomogeneity and aggressive components like halogens. For oil samples, time is often lost on developing combustion programs and fighting sulfuric acid backflush. Regardless of whether your feedstock is oil, gas, coal, biomass, or municipal waste, you will find the perfect fit among our robust and user-friendly combustion elemental analyzers.

Analyze with us

  • Cl, S, and C in solid derived fuels/refuse-derived fuel (SRF/RDF)
  • S in coal
  • Cl, S, N, and C in heavy and light oils as well as gases

Technologies

  • Combustion elemental analysis (CNSX)

Highlights

  • Macro elemental analyzer designed for robustness
  • Introduction of large sample sizes possible
  • Highest level of automation and operational safety

Solutions for Solids, Liquids, and Gases

The multi EA 4000 is ideal for waste and coal, uniquely offering simultaneous carbon and sulfur determination as well as chlorine analysis. It handles organic solid recovered fuel and refuse-derived fuel (SRF/RDF) samples up to 300 mg with ease, while its ceramic combustion tube and encapsulated detector ensure minimal wear - even under corrosive conditions.

For oils and gases, the multi EA 5100 delivers precise chlorine measurements in sequence with CNS analysis without hardware changes. Its automated flame sensor optimizes combustion in real time, eliminating soot formation and the need for method development.

When space is limited and speed is essential, compEAct offers interference-free total sulfur analysis for light oils and gases. Its compact design and intuitive touchscreen interface make it a powerful yet user-friendly addition to any lab.
