5 questions to ... a software architect. Thomas Kahl, Software Architect

In our format "5 Questions to ...a software developer" we introduce Thomas Kahl today. He is working at Analytik Jena as a Software Architect.

What are your daily tasks?
My tasks are adding features and fixing bugs in different software for different measuring devices in different programming languages as well as developing new device software.

What do you like most about your work?
What I like most is the varied topics every day, for example the design of the frontend but also the changes in the software for a better measurement process of the instruments.

What has been your highlight at Analytik Jena so far?
My biggest highlight was starting the new cross-device software and writing the requirements for it.

What do you do in your free time to relax?
In my free time, I actively play handball for TSV Großkorbetha. Playing handball gives me a great balance!

What are you looking forward to in the future?
I am looking forward to the new offices in the new building.
