At Analytik Jena, we design our CyBio liquid handling instruments with one goal in mind: to achieve exceptional pipetting precision. We also recognize that pipetting tips are a critical component of system performance. Therefore, we ensure seamless integration by offering both instruments and tips from a single source.
To meet varying application requirements, our unique CyBio Tip Sealing Technology provides precision and repeatability for 96, 384 and 1536 microplate formats. Each tip is sealed by an elastomer mat, while centering pins ensure precise alignment with the pipetting head and labware. This innovative design enables reliable liquid transfer over a wide volume range, including small well diameter labware such as 1536 well microplates.
This advanced sealing technology is an integral part of our CyBio SELMA, CyBio Well vario and CyBio FeliX systems. It ensures full compatibility with the CyBio TipTrays and RoboTipTrays, which are available in different formats, volume ranges and tip qualities to meet specific requirements. The performance data of our multi-channel pipetting heads - tested with CyBio TipTrays and RoboTipTrays - are described in detail in our product brochures.
For added flexibility, the CyBio FeliX Liquid Handling Adapter supports single, 8, 12, 16 and 24-channel transfers. Automated tip loading from TipBoxes or TipRacks ensures efficient handling with optimal pipetting performance.

Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) 10-6 is ensuring by irradiation process according to ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11137-2006 guidelines.
CyBio Tip Sealing Technology
- Our proven tip sealing technology works by applying a uniform pressure that partially embeds the top of each tip into a silicone mat to make an airtight seal. This tip sealing technology also ensures uniform tip length for enhanced pipetting performance, especially for low volume, and liquid transfers into dry or high density microplates.
