In this seminar the fundamentals of real-time PCR and its role in various laboratory applications will be presented, with a focus on the transition to multiplex approaches. The main differences between singleplex and multiplex assays will be discussed, highlighting advantages, limitations, and practical strategies for optimization.

The automated preparation of qPCR reactions using the CyBio FeliX system will also be addressed, emphasizing improvements in reproducibility, standardization, and efficiency, along with an overview of the steps involved in the automated workflow.

Finally, the use of the qTOWERiris as a solution for multiplex qPCR will be explored, including key concepts such as color compensation, experiment setup, and practical application examples, demonstrating how to simplify complex analyses with greater reliability and performance.
